Tonight at 365 Student Ministry we start a new 5 week series and it begins with looking at the mask we all put on each day of our lives. I am reminded of the many that I have and do put on....because today is the Marine Corps Birthday, which I spent many years in and still have a deep love for. In the Marine Corps, no matter the emotion, they teach you to put the mask on so the mission can be accomplished.
In life we find ourselves doing the exact same thing. At many different levels we wear mask that hide, protect, project or announce something about us. These mask are so easily put on taken off. I am reminded of something the "Skit Guys" once acted out....we never have to worry about letting God down because we don't hold Him up...He holds us up! So tonight, what mask do you have on? For whom are you wearing it? Why not take it off and clothe yourself with righteousness?
